My Hisense tv screen is frozen on the screen that says please run channel auto scan. I did that but it is still there. What do I do now?

First make sure that you have the antenna connected to the RF jack. Go to the Home screen of the TV and select the Antenna TV tile on the right hand side of the screen. (If you acquired the TV from a previous owner, they could have hidden this tile. See the steps preceded by Otherwise.) If this is the first time you scanned for channels, just follow the onscreen prompts (including setting your time zone). Otherwise, go to Settings (below Home in the left column on the home screen) > TV Inputs > Antenna TV > Scan again for Channels > Start finding channels. Use the arrow keys to navigate the menus/tiles and press OK to enter. To save, make sure to select Done and press OK.

Check if the antenna plug at back of tv is plugged in right. Otherwise it wont make good contact

If it is asking for zip code you have not told it to scan for over the air or antenna channels when it asks air or cable

put the co axel cable in the back , bypass this tv programming stuff put your tv on channel 3 or 4 and use the cable remote , no tv channels just cable

It will be in the setup menu. I believe with the Coby there is an initial setup screen which will guide you through.

try going to settings ,menu then hit present or auto scan

It sounds like it is not seeing any signal. Do you have the input set for the proper type? Air or Cable

Check your RF connection to ensure you have a signal coming into your television.

for some reason it is not seeing you cable signal. you will need to make sure you have it set up for cable and not air. check your input options, like tv/av/hdmi/ ect hope this helps
