Try sliding the panel forward or (back) then lift it up to release.

How do i replace touchpad on JGS8750ADS

here's a picture of it and a price http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Control-Panel/74005737/895120 it's the whole front panel, unplug it or throw the breaker if you can't pull it out all the way, open the oven door and look up,remove the screws going into the panel.on some you might have to pull the stove out a few inches and remove the front side trim pieces to get at any hidden screws and remove the side caps of the panel, pull off the knobs and that should be it,slide out the control panel, remove the clock assy. and ribbon and then reinstall it.http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Jenn-air-Parts/Range-Parts/Model-JGS8750ADS/1266/0124250/M0603274/00001?blt=06&prst=0&shdMod=JGS8750ADS go here at the sears site to get a better view of the parts.hope this helps.

I have a stoves farmstyle 1100 df cream range cooker. I am having problems with the timer and have bought a new one but I need to know how to remove the top to fit it. The cooker serial number is 050564146

Hi.

To replace the timer control you need to remove the front fascia panel and the hotplate at top.

Before starting disconnect power and move the range forward.

To remove front panel you need to undo the 4 screws at the sides and to remove the knobs, then remove front panel.

To remove the hot plate you need to remove 4 screws at the back. There are also 4 screws at each side of the hot plate. You may need to remove the side panels to reach those screws. There is also an additional screw located behind the control.

Here a service manual for the range Farmstyle 1100E, which is similar to 1100DF. The disassembling instructions for top and front are at pages 62 to 64 of PDF (sections 4 to 6). Control board and touch pad are at page 67-68 (sections C and D of disassembling).

I need to replace the hinge receptacles on a Jenn-air wall oven (WW30430PC). How do I access those parts?

The only way to replace the hinge receptacles is to pull the oven out of the opening. If you need parts you can get them on the link below. Also if you call the link below they will walk you through on how to replace.

Replace digital display for Jenn-Air range

Obviously, safety first. This being an electrical fix, unplug or otherwise disconnect the power to the appliance.
A philips screwdriver and 1/4" nut driver(or socket) are all that's needed.
First, there are 8 fasteners on the underside of the control panel. Only the 4 nearest the oven openning need to be removed from here.
Next, remove the burner knobs for the stovetop(simply pull straight off; if stuck, wrap a folded wash cloth behind the knob to gain extra leverage). Then remove the 4 screws that were behind the knobs.
At this point the panel should be loose and pulling out the bottom of the control panel will allow it to clear the knob shafts. Be careful not to pull too far, as the wires to the control board are rather delicate.

Replacing control valve/burner valve switch

This just started to happen to ours too. It's because you can't get let water get into the valve/switch assembly. Ours got so much water in there that it was making huge sparks and flames which charred up the switches. You may have to replace the whole 5-burner igniter switch assembly. I think it's part number 74010753. To access, remove 2 screws under the front of stovetop. open Top oven door to access. remove the 2 screws that hold the gas valve assembly. Remove 2 screws out of each burner assembly. Remove the green grounding wire on the right hand corner of stove top. The stove top will come off revealing the 5 white igniter switch assembly which is all wired together in parallel. Remove the large metal panel on the rear. There are two wires that are off the 5-burner switch assembly that you unplug. Replace this whole assembly and the problem should be fixed. Hope this helps
