Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. Error F1-1 in your Amana means
that the temperature while cooking exceeded. To resolve this issue you’ll have to check the oven temp. sensor circuit if the reading is more then 1100ohms then it should be replaced however, if the rating is fine then it is the Electronic Range Control (ERC) that has gone bad & should be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
Thanks

Oven takes too long to preheat. 20 minutes to get
3 possibilities:
1. Broil burner is cycled with bake burner during pre-heat ... make sure both burners are coming on during the pre-heat ... could be ignitor or gas valve failure on one burner ... you can check Broil mode to see if the broil burner ignites...
2. Temperature sensor bad or connections corroded ... this can signal the electronic control that the oven is hotter than it actually is...
3. Fault in the controller itself. If this seems likely we can test/repair it for you if you like.

OVEN WILL GO ON BUT WON'T HEAT UP
Usually the problem associated with this is the thermal fuse. The fuse will burn out sometimes when you run the self clean on the oven.
you can find a replacement at repairclinic.com or a local shop.
Let me know how this works out for you.

My Amana gas range's oven door will not stay shut.
they're not too bad, you may need to take apart part of the door to remove the hinges, just remember where everything goes as you take it apart. bring the door to the first stop, then bring the hinge pin locks into place to secure the door hinge lock, then remove door, or just slide the door up. then replace the hinges as needed.

i would first try the breaker it sounds like you only have half the power coming to unit and the light and clock will work but the heating componets will not as they require the full 220-245 volts
it sounds very odd that everything as far as burners and elements are out but you have a clock display and light... you have lost one of the legs of power somehow...either the double breaker is not fully on and may require turning off oven breaker and resetting or half the breaker has failed... a sure way of testing would be to pull out and with a volt meter test to see that you have 220-245 volts coming to oven,,, hope this helps out repost if anymore questions...
