The Onkyo has a center channel pre-out that you can connect the sound bar to. How does the sound bar connect to the TV? Is it two rca jacks, 1 red and 1 white or black? What brand and model is the sound bar?

You have to use the TV remote to set the TV sound option to external. Look on TV setup menu for 'external output' or 'external speakers'.

How about fiber optic cable or composite cables. I usually recommemd that people do either of these.

Make sure the two ports that you've connected to are outputs. Then disable the built in TV speaker and adjust output volume on the TV.

Connecting samsung sound bar to sanyo fvm3982 tv

Here are steps to connect a Samsung soundbar to a Sanyo FVM3982 TV using an optical cable:
  1. Locate the Optical Out port on the back of the Sanyo TV. This port will be labeled "Optical Out" and is usually covered by a small protective cap.
  2. Remove the protective cap from the Optical Out port and plug in one end of the optical cable.
  3. Connect the other end of the optical cable to the Optical In port on the Samsung soundbar. This port may be labeled "Optical In" or "Toslink".
  4. Turn on both the TV and the soundbar.
  5. On the Sanyo TV, use the remote to navigate to the audio settings. Look for an option to set the audio output to "External Speakers", "External Audio", or "Optical Out". Select this option.
  6. Adjust the volume on the Samsung soundbar using its remote control.
Once these steps are completed, the sound from the TV should be played through the Samsung soundbar. If you encounter any issues or don't hear any sound, check to make sure that the soundbar is set to the correct input and that the volume is turned up. Additionally, make sure that both the TV and soundbar are properly connected and powered on.

Does the Samsung UN50f6300af smart led tv support the Samsung Wireless audio soundbar HW-H450?

Because your TV is not Bluetooth-enabled and you are trying to connect it to a Bluetooth-enabled soundbar via Bluetooth. There are other ways to connect your TV to the soundbar:

1. analog AUDIO OUT (L/R) of your TV to the AUX IN on the soundbar (use a 3.5 mm.-to-RCA audio cable).
2. Optical OUT on your TV to Optical IN on the soundbar.
3. HDMI port to HDMI port (this may not work if your TV is not ARC compliant you have to try).

You get better sound quality with option 2.or 3. (if this one works for your TV)

Here is the link to download the soundbar's User Manual for help with the connections:

How do I connect my Sharp HT-SB30 soundbar to Samsung UHD7500 TV

Should be able to use Bluetooth. Need to "pair" the devices (the TV and the soundbar). On soundbar, press On/Standby to power it on, press Input to select Bluetooth (pairing indicator blinks), press & hold pairing button until pairing indicator blinks quickly. Now go to the TV's setup menus: Sound > Speaker Settings > TV Speaker > SoundShare Settings, Add New Device=On, select the Sharp GT-SB30 from device list. If passcode, password, etc is needed, enter 4 zeros (0000). After the devices are paired. the pairing indicator on the soundbar should stop blinking. The pairing information should be retained so you only have to do this one time unless you do a full reset on the TV or soundbar.
