My Polaroid iD975 video camera won't turn on but the green light is constantly on, even if I remove the battery and put it back in the light comes on again. How can I fix this?

SOURCE: Constant flickering

This could be early signs of imminent failure of a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:

My pictures always come out very dark. I'm not sure if the settings need to be adjusted. I tried adjusting the color but, the pictures are still dark. What should I do?

well I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ALL I GOT WAS A BLACK SCREEN & 3 BEEPS,SO GOT A LETTER OPENER AND STUCK IT IN THE SPACE BETWEEN THE ZOOM LENS A FEW TIME VERY CAREFUL PUSHING DOWN THE POWER BUTTON AT THE SAME TIME AFTER A FEW TIMES THE LENS BECAME UNSTUCK..JUST JIGGLE IT A ROUND A LITTLE BACK AND FORTH WITH A LITTLE FORCE.I HOPE YOUR CAMERA WILL START TO WORK AGAIN LIKE MINE DID.

SOURCE: Camera Light Won't Turn Off!

I have a 9700 bold and the same thing happened. Flash stays on even when battery is removed and left out for a whole day! as soon as you put th ebattery back. Flash is back on!

Out of fusrtation i gave it a slap and the thing turned off and is now working as normal again!

My camara won;t turn on everytime i get a orange light then it turns off completly

charge the battery until light changes from red to green, then when you put the battery back into the camera make sure you push the battery all the way down until it locks in place. Hope this helps

It Turns On Then It Turns Right Back Off

I put Rechargable Duracell Batteries in and now it takes pictures and turns on without a blank screen or shutting back off.
