I found a breakdown for the model number 7724 if this is correct you can go to dewaltservicenet.com and download a parts schematic and also an owners manual for this tool. There is a good parts breakdown for this drill on www.ereplacementparts.com. They are also a fairly good place to get replacement parts but most of the parts for this drill are discontinued.

try going to Dewaltservicenet.com and typing in your model number in the middle of the site towards the botttom will pull up a schematic on this and you should be able to download an owners manual from there also.

Sounds Like it's time for a Rebuild. On the Other Hand the tool may not have a Steady regulated pressure setting??
