The base account allows 2 simulations connections
eg : streaming 2 TVs same time.
to long in use your user name and PW
that is all there is to that.
no sign in to your account, unless, you like giving them free money?
no rooku does not
netflix, memorizes your device names .
so it can stream based on what it wants and needs
that means you need to sign in one time,
on each new device. used.
TV , rooku , DVD smart player. etc.
all are devices and very different.

so does vudu and hulu, i have all 3.

SOURCE: I have a child account for my xbox live account

You will need to upgrade your child account to an adult account to be able to use Netflix. Unfortunately this is not possible until the child reaches the legal age of 18 (US).

Once a child account is created it is managed from the date of birth indicated when applying for the account.

Netflix can't be bypassed to work on an Xbox 360 on a child account.

The only solution to view Netflix on the Xbox 360 is to have an adult account created and access via that account.

Recommend that you just stream using your computer. Plenty of options out there to get your PC hooked up to your TV if you need to view in a larger scale.

Disregard the other solutions. Open your Netflix App and do the following:
Hit the arrow keys on your remote.
Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, up, up, up, up.

Can't connect to Netflix with my Element smart TV

Where your Smart TV already has an app in its app pages, start that app, log onto your Netflix account (which you need to pay for) and watch away.
If your TV does not have a Netflix app, give Player a try at http://www.Playora.com - this is an app that runs on a PC and lets you open content on the screen of the PC and toss it to a lot of different Smart TVs (Samsung, Panasonic, LG, Sony, JVC, etc.). Ithing, It will be helpful for you.

How do I connect by TV to Netflix

Hi,

If it's a smart tv with the app already installed all you have to do is connect it to the internet and loginto your netflix account on the app.

If it's an older tv without apps but has a HDMI port you can buy something like the amazon fire stick and turn an old tv into a smart tv.

Hope this helps.

How to get from Netflix back to tv

Signing up
To use Netflix you must first sign up. This can be done through the various devices you can watch it through, or you can go online and do it from the Netflix website. As this is a monthly service, you will need to enter in your card details.
The process is self-explanatory. You will need to choose a password and email address to gain access to Netflix on any device and then fill out various other fields. Try to pick a difficult password or risk others 'borrowing' your account.
If your finances are good and everything checks out, you should be up and running in no time. If not, you should contact Netflix and get the creases ironed out. Smart TV Got a smart TV? There's a good chance you can watch Netflix without any external device. Most, if not all, smart TVs will have a Netflix app either pre-installed or one that can be downloaded. If the app is pre-installed already, you just have to find it and run it. There should be a button that takes you to a TV's

How do I watch Netflix on a non-smart Vizio TV?

Here are several answers--but keep in mind, they all involve attaching a device of some sort--whether it's a computer, a laptop, a tablet, a phone, or a device like Google's Chromecast, Amazon's Fire Stick or FireTV, or other devices similar to those I just mentioned from Google and Amazon.
You will usually need an HDMI cable to attach your device to the TV (whether it needs an HDMI cable or not depends on whether the device plugs directly into your TV's port or whether it needs a separate cable--of which there are standard HDMI, mini HDMI, and micro HDMI).
The simplest, easiest, and least expensive types of equipment to enable your non-"Smart TV" to view Netflix are the "key-fob" type devices like the Chromecast and Amazon Fire Stick (there are others, but these are the most common, most popular, and well-supported devices.)
You would simply plug the device into your TV's HDMI port, attach the power cable (these devices may be able to draw power from your TV's HDMI port, but often require a separate power adapter to be plugged into them) log onto your Google Play account or Amazon account, download and install Netflix, and log onto Netflix. Usually (but not always) the Chromecast and Fire Stick have Netflix installed, but you may need to update or download and install/reinstall the Netflix app.
