What size is the bobbin to a vintage Necchi Supernova? Any replacement??

Back when the internet was first made 'Free" by it's inventors, a friend purchased a machine, made it the late 19th century, with a horizontal bobbin. She found it's manual, online! Ergo, you can find your Necchi's manual online!

Just measure the existing belt and go from there. Besides the supernova and supernova ultra are likely to use the same belt.

Look at your manual, if you do not have one, take your bobbin with you and ask a sewing machine dealer. They normally stock all sizes and will sell you the right one. I tried to look it up online but could not find the exact size listed. Good luck

try rethreading, make sure the foot is up, change the needle, make sure there are no loose threads or lints under bobbin case. You might also try rewnding the bobbin to make sure it is wound evenly.

Try the Necchi Yahoo Group. There are members who often sell parts and they also are very knowledgeable and helpful.. You should also try eBay. They have parts for lots of vintage machines. You may not find what you are looking for right away but look often as things show up everyday.
