The water valve in the back where the water line conects is not letting the right amout of water pressure up to the ice maker. either valve is bad or if you have a filter it may need changing

This is most likely and issue with the defroster on the bottom of the icemaker not working. It cycles with the ice maker to help the ice cubes get pushed out. Or you may have your cube size set too high. Remove the front panel and locate the adjusting screw. Twist it towards smaller cubes. If you surf around you can find these schematics pertaining to your particular model.

My ice maker doesnt make ice i have checked all the obvious stuff

Did you check the temperature of the freezer? Most ice makers have a temp senser imbedded in the tray/unit . If the temp in the freezer isn't at least 5 degrees (normally on many ice makers) the ice maker won't operate. This is one possible cause. Other causes could be no water to the tray, the timer motor defective or stuck somewhere in its cycle, or the bin arm is up in the off position. I hope I was of some help! Good luck!!

Whirlpool freezer on top ice maker is making a grinding noise and is not making ice Apiece of ice is sticking out of the icemaker's tray. we left it in the off position a couple of days. when we returned...

You should have three screws on the side of the ice make. Two right above the tray and one below. Remove the screws and unplug a four wire connector.
When you reinstall it check for proper water fill. A low water pressure to unit or ice maker valve getting plugged up can cause a small cube to get stuck.

Ice Maker not working

Get me the model number. Put tap water in ice maker tray and make sure arm is down. Let it freeze. Wait and see if the ice will drop, this should allow water to come into the ice maker for another run. Let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Ice maker problem

Clear the Ice tray by pressing the button under the ice maker. The problem is that the ice is in the first couple of slots is not dumping and the tray tries to fill again and over flows. I pressed the button and cleared the tray of ice (This will tilt the tray and twist it to empty it) that was re-frozen several times without dumping. My ice maker works perfectly after I did the above. I think the problem arises if the door did not close completely. I stopped hanging the dish cloth on the door and on my LG Dish wisher. I hope this helps

Ice maker stuck

Switch the ice maker off then back on should reset it . It is possible that the 'ice mould heater' is not working so the ice cubes don't realease from the mould , jamming the motor. Replacement ice maker is usually the solution

Ice Cube maker stops making cubes as they are being made ....

Ice makers use a small heating element to release the ice from the mold tray..sounds like that isn't working and everything else is. Check to make sure all electrical connectors coming from the ice maker are properly seated into their mating connectors. If that doesn't solve your problem, you may be better serevd by just replacing the entire icemaker assembly.. Hope that helps...
