My solar powered 50-lap Ironman died after 1 month of normal use! Now it just stares blankly at me until I press any of the buttons, in which case it goes back to 12:00 and works for a couple of minutes just to humor me, before going dead again. Any tips?

this problem occur only if one of the buttons are stuck inside, because you cannot push two or more buttons at the same time unless that you have to reset the watch. 2nd probably the buttons of your watch didnot reached the contact inside, sometimes it needed to be cleaned and had to be lubricated. if still did not work. reset your watch using the reset button inside the watch. i hope this will help you a lot.

press and hold the upper left button which is set, the seconds blinks then press the mode button/the lower left button until it reaches the chime turn it off pressing the middle button once. if your done press the "set" or upper left button. i hope i had been helped you.

The Timex Ironman 30 Lap also has a stopwatch that can be used to keep track of split times for racing sports like running or cycling. Press the "Mode" button until the display shows "Chrono," then press and hold the "Set/Recall" button. To start the timer, press the "Start/Split" button. It will continue to run even if you exit to another mode. Pressing the "Stop/Reset" button will stop the chronograph. To record a split time, press the "Start/Split" button again while the timer is running. To see your split times, press the "Set/Recall" button while the watch is in Chrono mode. You can then scroll through the various splits with the plus and minus keys. Press "Set/Recall" again to exit display mode and return to the timer.

I fixed it but don't know exactly what I did. I think I pressed the mode (upper left) then the button on the lower right side to change the hour. But I'm not so sure. At least I didn't have to have my son do it for me.

i think the battery is low voltage,try to change the battery 1

I have the same problem with my watch. I replaced the ML-2016 battery myself. (which I found at Walmart) But when I press the iniglo button, it just stops the clock and I have to press the start/split button to get it to resume. No idea how to get the problem resolved

Press & hold set button the seconds will flash.

Press split/reset to set seconds to zero

Press mode to select hours

Press split reset to advance hour digits go through 12 hours to get to AM/PM

Press mode to select minutes


Press split reset to advance minutes

Keep repeatin the above steps to set month date day and 12/24 hour diplay

Press set when done.

Since you have changed to the newest program I cannot get in the watch program I was using to set the watch. Please help.
