My janome harmony 9102D serger I think is out of time- what is happenning is that my needle is hitting the upper looper whn it gos down to make a stitch how can I fix this---thanks

try changing the needles---are the needles the correct size for the fabric being sewed? make sure you have long thread tails--that what I do on my serger you can try to post the picture
Here is a step by step guide on replacing and threading the upper loop on your serger. If this does not work, the Janome website suggest using the DVD that came with your model for a step by step video.
I have read two postings on this particular model. One owner indicated the only instructions came on a VHS tape and the other was looking for a replacement manual as the dog and destroyed their original!!!!
