How do i get show deep water in dark blue like the pic on the box

For deep water you will want to run the lowest hertz setting. For example, if you have the option for 80hZ or 600hZ, then the 80hZ would be for deep water and the 600hZ would be for shallow water.

So why tell us-- if you have no problems?

Why drive into any water over 3" deep?
Makes no sense to ruin a $30,000 vehicle

Once you drive thru deep water NO ONE
NO SHOP will touch it

They usually get scrapped

try making sure that the picture plug in the back of the television is completely plugged in.

Hey Les, Since you have replace both the unit and transducer, you have eliminated/diagnosed most of your problem.. Its in the wiring... sometime when I am in full GPS mode I get erroneous depth readings..?? Have you tried a different GPS module (the "puck")?

It's a good possibility that your blower motor resistor is bad. It's located behind the glove box. Open the glove box and see if you can access the resistor its held on with 2 screws . It has 5 wires going into it. colors of the wires should be
1 dark blue with gray
2 dark blue with gray
3 dark blue with violet
4 dark blue with orange
5 dark blue with brown

after removing the electrical terminal, remove the screws. A slide out the resistor it kinda looks like the size of a credit card. It cannot be repaired, it must be replaced as a unit.

"Deep Field Imager" is set to the demo mode, press the "video" button repeatedly to cycle through the video settings until Deep Field Imager is accessed and then change the setting from demo to "on" or "off" depending on preference. Also u can try:1. Dark blue raster with faint movement in the background, suspect the FMT PCB part # 934C153001 . Also1. May be intermittent. Remove and reseat the DVI cable between the Chassis and Optical engine 2. Removing and reseating the DVI cable does not resolve, replace the Optical Engine part # 938P015020 Hope this helps Tom!!
