What is the power ic no for Samsung power model HT-Z310?
That's the power supply board isn't it. Have you checked the main power amp board? For when the power board failed it might have taken out the main power amp with it!

If your television has RCA style audio/video output you can use an audio RCA cable (red & white connectors) and simply plug from the 'output' of your television into the auxilliary input on the back of the HT-BD2.
Then select AUX on the HT-BD2 remote, whenever you wish to listen to the television audio.

Protect mode will kicking whenever a fault is detected.
Causes that can start protect mode are:
Electrostatic harges on internal circuits.
Leave the unit unplugged for power for one hour or so, this will allow discharge.
Bad speaker wiring.
Check speaker wiring, try unplugging and plugging back, or start after removing one speaker at the time.
Internal fault.

fault is the natural cause for protect mode. If all the above did not
work, then the problem is a blown component or an internal fault. In
this case the unit must be taken apart , tested and repaired by an
experienced person.

Maybe the audio amplifier Ic are damaged and need to be replaced

I had the same problem. It turns out one of the speaker wires was pulled out from the speaker and the and -ve were tangled. Once I separated them and put them back in the speaker, the system started working fine.

I have a samsung HT-Z310 home theatre. I left plugged and when light was restored the power ic blew. So i replaced and the power came back on but immediately it comes on it say protect and goes back off. So i noticed that the blue light on the volume knob doesn't light anymore so i started testing everything again then i noticed that the 5volts port doesn't have power. So my question is which ic is responsible for it. Thanks.
Please I want to known the power ic number I can't see it clear
