My mobility scooter, pride prusuit 36 sport is still blinking 5 and saying brake. The brake is not ingaged and the freewheel is in drive. This happened just a after I sprayed the sand off of it. Help

Hi charge batteries & get them load tested ..U can buy a BATTERY LOAD TESTER of E/BAY cost aprox $36 this will give U an accurate reading on there condition,.3 flashe's unplug charger & turn key of & back on ..5 flashe's remove key push freewheel lever into freewheel & back into drive put key back & try it . Cheers

Deflate the tyre completely by removing the tyre valve only then undo the nuts on the outer bolts take the two halves of the wheel apart remove the old inner tube noting carefully how the valve was placed through the wheel. Check the wheel interior and rims for rough or rusty patches, clean it up fit the new (empty) inner tube making sure that nothing is pinched reassemble the wheel halves together and be sure to fully tighten all nuts before fitting a new inner tube valve and you are ready to inflate the wheel. Do this in stages and gently bounce the wheel to settle the tube and rims then continue inflating continue a bit beyond the recommended tyre pressure and then release the air to the optimum pressure.

idea. If you have uniform wheels, consider buying a 5th wheel as a spare and fit it to the tow bar/ accessory attachment point behind your seat. I've done this on my venerable Pride Celebrity XL8.

Hi again u have to have the brake ON or the scooter will not move try this THIS TAKE THE KEY OUT PUT FREEWHEEL LEVER in freewheel THEN PUT it into drive lock position & put key back ,& try it good luck.......Hi. Try this remove key & push freewheel lever into drive good luck

Hi I have no data on the go go ...if the circuitry is similar to pride x the 5 beeps mean the manual lever is in freewheel u have to remove key put freewheel lever in drive & replace key good luck

Error 9 possible Solenoid Brake Trip
The parking brakes have a bad connection. Check the parking brake and motor connections. Make sure all the system connections are secure.

The park brake has got stuck, the brake needs to come off and be stripped down and cleaned, this will sort it.

The manual freewheel lever is in the (forward) freewheel position.

Remove the key from the key switch, then push the manual freewheel lever to the drive (rearward) position and restart your scooter. The manual is at...

Good job on replacing the batteries!
With the go go scooter, a beep code of 5 indicates a solenoid brake trip. This means that the brake manual/freewheel lever may be in the freewheel position. This means that you can push the scooter. Remove the key and push the freewheel lever to the drive position. Restart the scooter and the code should be cleared and the scooter will run. Hope this helps.

Are the lights flashing or steady? If they are steady and indicate that the battery is charged, make sure that the freewheel/manual brake release lever is in the drive position.
