I have the same problem, however here is my fix: I just buy a packet of o-rings from Home Depot or any hardware store. Last time I bought them, I got a half dozen for less than a dollar. I slide two of these onto the band. As they are black neoprene, they match perfectly.

The band on the fit broke so i just replaced it with a leather one and the small band that holds the end so it doesn't stand up broke and it's not a week old

I assume you're referring to a FitBit. Either way, if the strap failed after a week I'd say you have every right to return it to the retailer and get your money back or a replacement.

The rubber band broke on my seiko dive watch--unable to get the pins out without breaking them--any suggestions on removing the pins

mcdevito75 here, Best Bet, you may need a special tool to remove and replace the SPRING BARS (PINS) that hold the band onto the watch, then you may even need new spring Bars, (pins) to re-attach the band to rthe watch. BEST BET, look for a small watch repair shop in your area to change the band.

Replacement watch band

You can buy any rubber watch strap and take the loop off for replacement. Just make sure - the strap you buy is exactly the same width as the original ******** your watch. Needless to say: colour should match as well. Rate me, plz.

Older casio triple sensor has small metal bands(clips?)around the batteries ,how do you remove the old ones?

These small clips are just hooked around small prongs. You need a VERY small screwdriver (now that i think about it, a needle may work). Just pry the looped ends up and lift gently. I have done this a couple of times, however when I replace my batteries nothing happens. Last time I had to send it back - some info stated there was another battery deeper????? That is why I am looking into this now.

What I would love is for an EXPERT to solve a very small problem that exist with every Lap - Ironman style watch I have ever owned over the past 20 years. There is no exception!!! After about 1 to 1-1/2...

This is a common problem with all watches with rubber or leather straps, not just with Ironman. In fact, there isn't anything our experts can do, as the responsibility is entirely on watch band producers. We just can hope that when the nano technologies will develop to the higher level, there will be a possibility to produce brand new materials yet unknown to human. These materials will have no wear and tear at all and everyone will be happy with forever lasting bands, shoes, e.t.c. For a while we can only wait. By the way - if you will buy Casio, it will make no difference, as all watch straps are made by using same technologies and chemical formulae. One of my friends went very upset for the same reason as you, so, I did find a solution for him using piece of scrapped copper pipe. This is how you do that: Measure that small loop of your watch band and find or buy the piece of copper pipe of same size. Cut off 1cm piece of the pipe and file off any imperfections, then polish it if needed. Get an old leather belt, fold it into half and put the copper ring in between, then flatten it with hammer. Do it step by step, always checking that there is enough space for band and band end to go through the newly formed copper loop. When flattened enough, spray the loop with band matching paint and leave to dry. Respray if necessary. Now you are done and this loop will last very long time.

Where to buy just the strap retaining loop for a M3000.

that part is called a Keeper and not easily available ...the company that manufactures the bands does not sell it separately so you would have to buy the complete band to get it...or you could try to find somewhere that would sell you a clean used one...good luck
