Freezer does not work

Hi Julie. I'm Roger. It sounds like the operating thermostat is not working When not in the fast freeze mode. Can you here a click sound from the thermostat when turning the temperature up and down short of fast freeze? We normally charge them to operate at -10 to -20 degrees. The inside temperature will normally only reach a temperature around 18 degrees warmer. The operating thermostat should allow you to regulate its temperature any where from that capability up to where you want it. See if your thermostat makes a clicking sound when adjusted. The warning light comes on because it knows the box temperature is higher than it is set for and is warning you of that. If it uses a printed circuit (PC) board, the click will dot be very loud. listen closely. Let us know how this turns out for you. We have very good refrigeration techs. here. Someone else here may have an idea too.

you try it again otherwise your freezer plug is facced problem.

Check the thermostat isn't set too high or faulty (contacts stuck together) and check the temperature inside.

The Danby freezer(DUF808WE) doesn't work from yesterday, even proper plugged in?
I already check electrical outlet. How can I fix it?

i think after long trasporatation your freezer has been leek from any pipe so please contect to your service technician for find out that leek and refill the refrigrant gas .after that your freezer will be able to good cool.

I suspect when you lifted or moved the freezer, you tilted the compressor such that the oil washed out into the refrigeration lines. Common when people tilt refrigeration equipment the wrong way.

I am having the same problem. How long did it take?
I bought mine second hand and think it may be broken. I plugged it in 8 hours ago. I can hear it running but it's not cold yet.

I assume you mean do not work? I have the freedom 18" with through the door ice water. Themador has replaced the whole unit already. The second stoped woking after six weeks, call is in to repair again......
