Good Afternoon...I have a Karcher G 2400 HH and I don't have any pressure and I've tried mostly everything I was told except the unloader valve...where is this located? I don't have the manual. Thank you
Hi ruthkapres:
Here is a diagram. The unloader/spill valve is #12 on page D2 or F2 depending on your model. You must pull it out, inspect the o-rings for dents or tears and make sure the valve is lubricated with a good water proof lubricant.
I have soaked the valve for 24 hrs with no luck removing the valve. It acts as though there is a snap ring keeping it from coming out. Any other suggestions? Thanks
If we have the correct model, there is nothing holding it in except burnt rubber and/or lime and/or rust. I have had to replace the entire piston guidance (#4)
A good trick to get these out is to use your garden hoses pressure to push the valve out from the inside. Hook your machine up as you normally would. Cover the opening for the spill valve with you hand and turn on your garden hose. This will normally push the valve out of the pump.
Also if you need detailed instructions on repairing this issue please see the following link to a detailed walk through that was released to all Karcher dealers a few years ago.
