Every time we switch it to celcius... we notice a few hours later it has switched back to Fahrenheit, as if the power has been interrupted. The fridge is still working properly as far as we can see.... but we are worried this may be a sign that it is on its way out! Do you have any insight on the issue?

i suspect that repair man got it wrong. ice may be blocking return duct to fridge. worth a chance to turn off for 24 hours with doors open then retry

Dawn, press the refrigerator key and freezer key together for 5 seconds. It should toggle between them. Catriver.

Hold the colder button for the fridge and the colder button for the freezer both for about 3 to 4 seconds. It should change to C.

Try closing the water valve slightly to reduce the water pressure to the unit.

Please use the attched link to get the service and user manuals for your fridge. There are exploded views there as well so that should provide you suffiicient information to reinstall your panel. You can also get part numbers etc for replacements if that is necessary.. Hope this helps you...
