WHEN TO CHANGE TIMING BELT
It is usually advisable to replace it after 90.000KM if its a belt.but if its a chain it is better to wait until you hear the signs such as unusual noise(rattling) from the chain and have it replaced immediately. The problem with the timing belt is that it may not give warning when its about to break, so its better to replace it after 90.000Km or according to the vehicle manufacturer,s instruction manual.

Hate to tell you but you need to take it to someone who is an expert in the airbag system. You mess with the system yourself you can make it worse than just a light on. You may make the airbags come out. That cost even more to fix.
What is the most likely cause for non working cruise control?
the cause is but one. (you) no kidding....
"you forgot to scan the PCM"
after all , cruise mode is dangerous. and today the rules are more strict.
the new rules, cut the Cruise for any serious transmission/engine errors the drive train, or more, say some kid opens door on the fly.>? or bumps the shifter? or the brakes switch sticks on ,
more. too.
why not scan it first. the ask.
as you will have DTC errors you are ignoring, I BET.
the FSM book covers all this,

its $4 read. at suzuki pit stop plus, do so and win.
Suzuki SX4 misfire and low compression, need to figure root cause
Cylinder 4 is way too low. Start there. Check the valve clearances starting at no4 if they can be adjusted. If not see if there is a lifter fault if it has hydraulic lifters. If that doesn't show something significant then its head off and a thorough check by a shop or specialist. Is it possible sometime in its recent life it was over revved? There could be valve damage on no 4, not enough to stop the engine but there is a very good reason for no 4 being like it is. Try and find a good engine shop to go through the stages of checking things before you throw money at it. Another option is get a good head from a breaker yard and swap it.
Engine overheated. now it will turn over but wont start. what's wrong?
You may have SEVERAL serious problems because of ovreheating and if that's the case, you most probably don't have the proper equipmente and knowledge and you can't solve them on site. Excuse me if you DO have.. Wait till car cools down completly and try If still you can't start the car, call a good mechanic or tow it to your mechanical service of your trust. Actually, you can keep waiting for the answer of someone who knows more about cars then me
