What windows can i download that is a upgrade from windows xp pro THAT IS FREE?

experience has shown as has many forums that upgrading win 7 to win ten creates compatibility problems
generally it is better to instal win 10 off a disc rather than an up grade

Why up grade if XP Pro is working fine???????? The only time to up grade is when your existing OS is not compatible with some program you wish to run. Other than that you should stay with XP.

If you have to "upgrade" your best bet is Win 7 but that is a clean install, not an upgrade. Stay away from Vista, Win 8.1, 10 lest you have horrific issues with convenience, compatibility and/or drivers.

hye hi, well what u can do is reformat your computer and then from microsoft website you can download and install all the new latest definitions and updates and it will be better than the new XP disk because the disk which u r gonna buy would obviously be older then what they have on their website.. if u wish u can call microsoft and confirm the same.

you go out and buy a windows xp disk.

if you have some problems with programs first goto microsoft website and do windows updates ...it will download required patches hope that might solve your problem.

completely different operating systems actually... as far as i know that upgrade would not be possible... a full install would be the way to go... back up all your data first.

the beauty of 64 bit tho is it basically allows you to add unlimited memory to your computer.
