Search for my solution for a replacing the element on a JP939/JP969. That should help for similar GE models.

This indicates failure (open circuit) of the left front temp sensor. You can search for my solution for replacing a element on a JP939 and JP969. Will likely require replacement of the element (~$160).

One of the heat elements is touching ground. Not worth repairing as you have to replace at least 2, maybe all elements

bad thermal sensor in the element, do they all do it or just one?
if it is just one then replace the element if it is all the replace main board, this can be pricy in some models check the users manual for waranty info some brands/models cover such items for several years

Yes it sounds as if you have control knob probs ..did it work b4 or is it a new cooker ?

usually means that the probe in that heating element has gone bad. it's no big deal but if it bothers you replace that element.

It sounds like the burner needs to be replaced. When they burn out sometimes they short out to ground. The cooktop will have to be removed from the counter and the glass top opened. You will probably be able to see where the element is burned out. Replace it and you should be fine. If it is too expensive to fix just disconnect the wires to the burner where they attach to the control . Then you can use the remaining burners. I really don't know what a replacement burner costs. An open coil is around $30.
