Hey Barb,
The beeping sound is a beep code, the freewheel lever needs to be put in drive.

Its probably too late to give my opinion, but here goes anyway.
I had a similar problem with my mothers scooter and it turned out to be a faulty connection on the wires leading to the motor. I simply pulled the plastic connection apart, cleaned and lubricated the contacts, refitted the connection and all was well.
SOURCE: We have charged the battery and when we turn on
So the Battery charger is showing a green light (Fully Charged ?) Can you tell me the MAke and Model of the Scooter ?
SOURCE: the battery is fully charged but the scooter will not move.
Is it the small portable scooter? The one with the base that comes apart for transporting? Could it be a bad connection where it goes back together?
If it is the portable, try disconnecting the rear drive portion from the base and re-installing it so it clicks into place.

Look at the rear of the scooter, make sure the Free Wheel lever is engaged

Hi.
Seven beeps means faulty Throttle potentiometer or speed potentiometer fault. If using contact cleaner is not enough, that means that the faulty part must be replaced. The potentiometer is tested reading Ohms with a multimeter. Touch its contacts with multimeter probe set on Ohms while using the accelerator at the same time.Contact your authorized Pride Provider to get replacement part or to get a quote on repair.
