I have connected my wifi dongle to my smart hitachi tv successfully but how do i access netflix on screen

You would first need to access your network. If you have wifi then scan for your wifi network name and select it from the network setup menu. Then you will need to enter the network password. Once that is done you should get a message on the screen that you are connected. If your tv does not have the Netflix button on the remote then you will need to find it in the apps section of the menu. Once you have accessed Netflix follow the log in menu.

Do you have a WiFi dongle connected to the TV?
If so, it would appear it has a bad connection and needs to be reseated (unplug->plug back in).

If that does not fix the issue, the dongle may be faulty.

is it already connected to the internet thru wifi or other means? if yes, then you may very well already have a button on your remote that says netflix, or one of the preinstalled apps on the tv or just got to netflix.com on the browser on your smart tv

Go to the apps portion of the TV, and if they were not pre-loaded, just go to the app store and download them.

Only if your mobile phone has the capability of being a mobile wifi hotspot. Otherwise, no.

A dongle... There's your problems right there as to why the internet is lacking. Look on your tv for an ethernet port or check in the tv menu for a wifi option.

wifi will be easy and no cords, but wired with an Ethernet cable sometimes brings better speed and more reliability..

Your TV must be a 'smart' TV i.e. it should have software enabling it to connect to the internet and access features such as Netflix. If you don't have a 'smart' TV then you can purchase a set top box which can be connected to your TV and will allow you to access on-line services such as Netflix. If you have a 'smart' TV then you still need to connect it to your internet router, either with an Ethernet cable or via WiFi if the TV has WiFi built in (or you can buy a WiFi adapter for the TV). If you connect with an Ethernet cable then the TV will connect to your router (and internet) with no further setup. If you use WiFi then you will need to access the WiFi settings menu on the TV and configure the settings for your router.
