Does the Eclipse Fit Clip Plus have resume play functions?

I have just discovered that if you pause the player and then let it shut off on its own then press pause again later to wake up the unit and again it will pick up where you were. Now, I don't know if it uses any battery life when it's sleeping so will just have to experiment there. But the key here seems to be NOT actually turning it off. Turning it off will reset it to song #1 every single time. Which is really obnoxious.

Creative Zen V Plus Bookmarks

A little known feature on this player is the ability to use bookmarks, up to 10 of them. Many of you listen to podcasts or audio books which may be fairly lengthy and if you have to stop in the middle of what ever you're listening to, normally when you go back to your player you would have to start all over again.<br /><br />A note about <span style="font-style: italic;">"resuming playback":</span> If you shutdown during playback of a podcast or audio book (not pausing or stopping playback first) your Zen will automatically resume playback when you start it back up.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Zen V Plus Bookmarking</span><br /><br />You can insert bookmarks during playback. My car starts sputering and slows to almost a hault. when turned of and restarted it will resume for a short time

sounds like your fuel pump is going out. go to an automotive store and rent a fuel pressure gauge. while you are there buy a repair manual, inside the manual you should be able to find what the fuel pressure should be. haynes makes a good book, just remember to get the book that is for your cars year, make and model. also they would be able to hook up an obd 2 scanner to help you find out if your car is giving any trouble codes. lots of stores do that for free.

Hi. I have a Samsung Sansa MP3 clip-on player. I listen to audio books all the time. I order an audio book online. It comes to me in either a regular CD or an MP3 version (however they manufacture it)....

Normally MP3 players can only play music/audio files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

I cannot get my Sansa Clip MP3 Player to play recorded books. I downloaded the book chapter by chapter and I can see them when I use the computer to explore the player. I cannot get the player give me...

Audio books should be listed within the Music folder on your clip.. just scroll until you see it.

You may have to manually put the audio book into that folder via My computer beforehand.

WIndows media player does not recognize the audio book subfolder and will mix your audio books into the album mix.. but just ignore this

Lyra tc1102a RCA mp3 player

Make sure that when you transfer the audio book onto the player it is in MP3 format so that you will have the option of more than one track. If you saved it to your computer in the wrong format that can happen. The same thing can happen with music as well.

Playback of audio files does not resume where I left off when powering back on

I have an e260. I use it for audiobooks a lot. I just press pause (centre top of the dial), and the track will resume from there next time (unless I go back to the main menu for radio of course.)
