Probably your Eclipse passed out and it's in a "throw - away" state.. The one I bought lived for 45 days. This is the WORST mp3 player I ever bought

Um honestly .... well, if it will stay on though it's blank, it should be reformattable. If it simply will not turn on even though it's fully charged ... unfortunately it's probably destined for the trash bin.

That's what restore does. It sets it back to factory condition. You might want to try finding a file recovery program, but I'm not aware of any that actually work for your model. You should keep your entire library in whatever program use use to transfer content to your player. that way, if you do a restore, you can just reload everything.

Is the play mode (for this song) on REPEAT ? Are you able to select a different song ?

I might have an idea, have you tried going to the settings and changed the backlight time? Not to make you sound stupid or anything.

It depends on what the file type is if it's WMA it wont work, so try to convert the files to MP3 at it hopefully will play. Dont worry it took me a while to figure this out.
