look at your speaker wire there should be some marking the distinguishes each wire. You need to get this right make sure the negative or black color from the speaker is connected to a negative or black of the receiver. ditto for the positive (red). look on the back of the receiver you should see where the speakers get connected left, right.

I don't see why not.. just make sure you observe polarity.. red to red+++ black to black---

check the impedence of your system and your speakers. if they are both the same e.g. 8Ohm then there should not be a problem.
your sytem looks on the web 110 Watt - 8 Ohm - THD 0.05 % - up to 7 channel(s) ( Surround )
and your speakers are also 8 Ohm normal impedence.
I would connect and put the volume down to zero and slowly increase volume to ensure not problems.
i hope this was useful.

Hi -
Sony CD player Red / White RCA - > CD input RCAs on the Arcam.
From the Arcam Preamp Output RCA's, go to the Bose "Input". From the Bose "Output", you need RCA splitters to make them into four outputs to run your amplifier connections.

According to this picture, you're in luck BUT...

(Short answer from personal experience.)
There is no way around this part. Get a separate power amp for the 901's if you want to use them in a multichannel way or alongside non-901 speakers. A good 100-wpc amp will do. (I like Carver)
Connect the Active EQ between the Front pre-outs and the amp input. Run speaker assignment, levels, etc and have fun.
Helpful Hint: If you don't have sufficient between-speaker room for proper reflection off the front wall you CAN turn the 901's around and you won't believe the amount of air these things push! I have actually felt it ten feet away after explosions or crashing ocean wave sounds. Now THAT is multi-media.
