SOURCE: my bunn coffee maker leaks

You need to replace the washer kit inside the top of the maker. Remove the 3 screws that fasten the top and lift it off. You will see the rocker leaver that allows the water to flow into the tank. At the point where the rocker stops the water there is a series of washers that degrade from the heat over time and allows the leak. The washers are very easy to replace. The problem is finding the washer kit. I found it at: www.buyitnow64.com for $3.95 plus shipping (FedEx is only $9.98). I bought 2 (one for backup) kits. The original washers lasted almost 6 years. I had repaired this problem before with a washer from my shop but it broke down rather quickly from the direct heat from the tank. This washer kit is a Bunn washer kit that is supposed to fit all Bunn machines both residential and commercial.
Hope this helps. It took me 2 hours on line to find the washers!

SOURCE: Bunn VPS Series Commercial coffee maker won't brew

Hello. I would like to suggest that you pour in water, with a container under the funnel, until water does come out, it sounds like the water has just evaporated too far, and it requires more than a pot to bring it to the top. In the future, if you do not use it for a day or more, you need to unplug it, or just pour a pot of water in to keep it at level, as this unit heats all the time it is plugged in, and can actually evaporate all the water away, blow the element, damage the thermostat, or worse permanently damage the unit.

here you can find the user manual:
http://bunnomatic.com/pages/techdocs/manuals/pourbrew_warm.html

Hope that helps, and thank you.

SOURCE: Bunn coffee maker leaks all over the counter. What

there's probably a 'silicon rubber' hose that feeds hot water to the 'grounds basket'- it may be loose, or damaged. is it leaking water, or coffee?? we have a bunn 8-cup, which has a pre-heated water tank that brews a pot in about 3 min. energy waster, but when you need coffee, you need coffee!!! is your filter holder properly centered? is the carafe lid hole clean and un-obstructed?
if it's leaking water, and not too costly to replace- you may consider replacing it with a new one!
good luck!

SOURCE: I have a bunn coffee maker the NHBX is the # it is

Please give Customer Service a call with the model and date code. If the machine is 3 years old or less, it will be replaced with a new machine. If it is older than 3 years, it can be exchanged for a reduced price.

Water leaks from the top of the right side of commercial coffee maker

VPR has a semi-sealed tank that keeps +1 pot of water heated and ready to brew. Pouring in a full pot of cold water will fill the top tray and allow a slow trickle of cold water into the top which forces hot water to over flow into the brew basket. This continues until all the cold water drains into the heater tank. So the brew is matched volume per volume. UNLESS the tank was empty or not filled prior to brewing. Follow the brewing instructions from Bunn (on line for *FREE* download at Bunn.com)
* If it leaks (from the bottom) only when you pour in water. Then your pouring it too fast and over flowing the fill tray. slowdown, watch the level in the tray. do not fill past the lid.
* If it leaks just sitting (not brewing) then there is a hole in the tank. Call for service.
* If it leaks after filling the tray half way. then the top of the tank has a leak, loose, cracked, or missing gasket. There is quite a few gaskets on the lid. Call for service.
* Final; Leaks are always bad around electrical equip. Best to unplug and call for service to be safe.

My Bunn Coffee maker is leaking water from the bottom.

I had the same problem. On mine (and probably yours) the problem was the seal between the (upper) plastic water reservoir and the lower (metal) heating reservoir. No replacement seal is available.

I fixed mine by coating both sides of the old seal with aquarium grade clear silicone sealer - available at pet supply stores. Just a light (1/16") coating is all that's required. Carefully re-assemble and allow the sealer to cure for 24 hours.

I did that over a year ago, and it hasn't leaked a drop ever since.

I just get bunn VPS it is and work very good

The switches are for the "warmers" only. The brewer has a reservoir the keeps water hot and ready for brewing. When it is not re-heating water (after brewing) it has a "keep warm" heater that is low voltage and keeps it ready to go.

Bunn coffee brewer leaking

Is this a lot of water, or just a small amount.

As the unit sits over time and runs heating cycles, it may have some vapor come out of the vents. That will cool and collect around the unit.

try turning the unit off for the weekends. If you still have water around the unit, then it may have a leak in the tank.

I have a BUNN VPS that leaks water when we make coffee. I have removed the top of the maker and watched, but I can not see the leak.

There is a significant amount of plumbing inside one of these. I think it will have to be taken apart to find the leak -- these leaks are very common and sometimes very difficult to stop (kinda like a roof leak).

We find water under the coffeemaker in the morning.

Sounds like a leaking water pipe from the water source, unless you have a over temp heater and this results in steam and dripping.

We have a Bunn VPS 3 and we need to know how much water we should keep in it ?

You should keep the unit full of water all the time it's plugged in, as if it is low on water, the heating element will burn out. A Bunn VPS brewer holds about 2 -64 oz pots of water in it's resevoir.
