The water does not pump out of the dishwasher and the rest of the water is left in the bottom area. Any ideas to what is wrong with it?

Just changed the garbage disposal and now this problem happened.

You said you installed a new disposal. has the dishwasher drain inlet knockout been removed from the disposal? This could be the reason all of a sudden the dishwasher is not draining especially if there is no air gap in the line. (the silver or white dome thing on the sink). If you don't have one then more than likely the dishwasher is connected directly to the disposal.

Check the dishwasher drain line, it may be clogged. You will probably have to pull the dishwasher out from under the cabinet to remove it and check it fully. If it still doesn't drain, it is then probably your drain pump. I just replaced one of these and it was pretty easy. I bought from appliancepartspros.com because of their good return policy and prices. They can also help you diagnose your problem.

Sounds like the pump is gone, or a blockage.

Frigidaire/electrolux dishwasher not cleaning top rack

There is a circulating pump that takes water from the bottom and pushes it to the top spinner. Most likely that pump is clogged or needs to be replaced. Replacement is a somewhat involved repair that requires removal of the lower pump assembly. It can be done DIY if you are comfortable with disconnecting a/c power to the unit, removing the unit and making tight hose re-connections. Before you do that - maybe check the intake for clogs that may be slowing the water flow. Have you routinely cleaned the bottom intake? (Most likely not ...) You can start by cleaning the bottom intake by usually removing the lower spin arm, then take out the catch ring and check for obstructions. The spin arm rests on a cap that can be removed to then remove the screen assembly. Be careful not to force the part in the wrong direction - with these you usually turn the spin cap right to unlock from the base. Then you can access the intake area - be careful as there are probably blades inside the intake that work as the disposal grinder. Remove the soap scum and buildup on all removal parts with a simple sponge and baking soda scrub. Do not attempt to run the machine with parts removed.

My LG dishwasher is stopping after a few minutes into the wash cycle with an error message OE and making a sound. The dishwasher tablet is still inside the dispenser and while there is water in the unit it...

Hi rebeccasolom,

OE means "Outlet Error"

The drain pump is either clogged or the outlet hose is kinked.
- Inspect the Drainage hose at the back for kinks.
- Open the unit, and at the bottom sump check the small drain pump area for any foreign object that may be obstructing it.

Kind Regards :-)

Installed an older model dishwasher for a friend power works oes throuth the cycles but its not pumping water into the uniT there is no clogs and i hear the pump turn on. unsure why its not getting water...

You will need to disassemble the bottom part where the bottom rotary spray nozzle is(the part that shoots water upwards). The impeller might have come loose or it is clogged in that area.

Kudm01TJWH0 dishwasher is EXTREMELY slow draining. Plugging the drain into the disposal builds pressure (10PSI?), but no volume. Any ideas?

The bottom area of all dishwashers have the drain holes and pump which evacuate the water and debris. Remove the bottom tray and reach in and feel around. You may discover that some small items like corncob holders have fallen into the drain holes...If the drain holes are not blocked or clogged, the pump may be weak or defective. Check for debris first, if you find nothing blocking the little drain holes, call a repair agent who may need to get under the wash basin area by removing the washer from the cabinetry.

Leaking water through the door bottom left about 6 inchs from side approx 3 tablespoons of water . drying puts heat out in same area causing tile to condensate

The bottom of the door is NOT ACTUALLY SEALED. if you use the wrong or too much soap this can happen. Unit level is important.

Top arm won't turn

Approximatly how old is your dishwasher?
First step, clean the filter that is underneath the lower sprayer arm. You will probably need to remove several screws to clen it.
While the filter is off, inspect for debris in the pump area (watch out for broken glass that are almost invisible in the water left behind.)
Inspect the impeller for damage and repair/replace.
Reassemble the filter and spray arm - retest.
If the problems remain, the problem is often a failing (weak) pump motor and that is your next step unless you are going to replace with an Enery Star model.
Good Luck!

Bosch shu9905

Check the drain pump. First, manually initiate drain by pressing the second and fourth buttons on the keypad at the same time. If it pumps out, disregard the rest. If it doesn't at least hum, check for power at the motor.
Remove lower rack, lower spray arm, and screens in bottom, remove all water inside. Check for debris under pump cover in bottom of sump. The drain pump suction is through the hole on the left.
Behind the toe panel on the left is the drain motor, If no debris was found inside, the drain pump may have failed. Remove outer door panel (you may need to remove the two screws on the sides of the control panel.) Remove the metal panel across the top of the motor area , disconnect hose in front of pump, disconnect wires to pump, press tab at top of pump and rotate clockwise to remove pump. The impeller could be loose on the motor shaft, or the motor windings failed.

Top rack dishes have grainy particles on them after washing and will not come clean.

Run the dishwasher and observe the spray arm,if split it will spray water down: Also check water in tub, is it filling up sufficiently to get near the heater? If it has a upper spray arm does it spray water? If not you may have a clogged upper spray arm.
