When I switch on the washing machine, E13 displays after a few clicks door lock, then the water pump starts. I've established there's no drainage obstruction, the water pump is ok and pumps water. I tried resetting the error code by unplugging the machine and plugging it in switching on while pressing the start button. It briefly started filling with water but then displayed E13 again. I checked the connectors and none are loose. What else can I check? I'm running out of options!

The error message "Err" usually indicates that the wash program and option are not compatible. 40 degrees and 900 rpm Spin should be o.k.. I would try another wash program with no special options and see if the problem goes away.

what I have found is that the washer thinks it is not pumping out .. if your drain pump is clearly removing the all the water in a good time... then the problem is your pressure switch...it is telling the computer that it still has water in the machine...
replace the pressure switch and it will solve your f21 error.
It is a round unit on the right hand side on top...with a tube and wires going to it...let me know if it helps

Unplug the machine. Unscrew the 3 screws under the front edge of the washer. The service technician manual is attached to the panel that slides down and off. Find F21 code. See suggested procedures. Note: My drain pump filter had a baby wash cloth in it along with some change that was disrupting the flow. It is exceptionally easy to remove, clean, and reinstall. Just line up installation notches when reinstalling. Whirlpool should have mentioned this filter in the User & Care Guide, but I could not find it anywhere in there.

E13 error in
your Bosch WFVC washer is a drain error and is displayed when the drain time
exceeds & the washer is unable to drain so the door won't open sometimes
when this error is displayed. You will have to clean the drain trap in the
bottom right hand corner. You can stick a straighten paper clip in the access
panel located inside the front bottom panel through the whole and then turn the access
panel counter clockwise to unscrew the plastic drain cap behind it. After
everything is cleaned and the error returns then replacing the drain pump is
recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
