Does it trip on other programmed cycles? Or, do you only have the one circulation time? This one is odd, if it only trips during one of multiple cycles. It could happen this way: if you have two or more cycles programmed, and only the one 6:00 cycle has the option for the heater to come on, then you could have a bad heater element? But the situation would have to have the spa in economy mode. Because heater will work only when timed filter cycles are activated, and if a demand for heat is registered, the heater will come on,and in your case, breaker will trip. If in standard mode, the breaker will trip any time the spa comes on, when a demand for heat is registered, this is called "heat call" or call for heat. Good luck

My lazy spa has been fine for 18 months and is now tripping electrics every time I put on to heat and filter

if your hot tub is tripping the breaker, it could be due to a worn out ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) breaker, which is responsible for preventing electrical surges. You can try flipping the breaker to see if it trips again. If it does, then you may need to replace the breaker.

Another possible cause of the problem could be loose electrical connections in your hot tub . This can lead to power fluctuations that cause your hot tub circuit breaker to trip. Professional electricians can inspect your hot tub and tighten any connections that are loose, which should fix the circuit breaker problem.

If your spa is not receiving power, you should check your home's circuit breaker to ensure that it's not tripped . Reset the circuit breaker if it's tripped to restore power to the spa. If the circuit breaker keeps tripping, it may be an indication of an electrical problem, and you should call a professional electrician to diagnose and fix the issue

Water not pumping

Is the pump running? If so I would say you lost your impeller. If not running I would check for a circuit breaker for the motor.

I have a cal spa ps-4-b no manual, it came with a house. I filled it up and turned on the breaker. The pumps started working but the heater light just kept flickering on and off and then just stayed off....

One of three things here.
1.the circulation pump is clogged or failing. (solution: replace or clean out)

2. the filter is old and not letting the circulation pump flow freely (solution: replace filter. to see if this is the problem. Clear the spa of debris. Turn off power. remove filter element. turn on power. see if problem persists. if this fixes it, replace the filter)

3. the heating element is bad. Typically when this happens it blows the breaker, but not always.
You can test this if you turn off power. disconnect the heater and test the heating element for resistance ratings. if you do not know how, this is something a service tech should do.

I have an XP2 in my 6 year old above ground spa. Recently the breaker keeps flipping after about 15 minutes of use and the pump motor is very warm. Is the pump done??

You have a gage on your filter? Anywhere on your system? I would suspect yout system should run at about 18 to 28 lbs PSIG when clean and go up about 10 lbs PSIG when it needs to be back washed.
