Hi my name is Stanton I have a problem with my bmw x3 2004 model when it is in 2 gear and when it must change to 3 gear it go into limp mode

Perhaps one of the cylinders are misfiring. Did you get CEL (Check Engine Light)? If so, you need someone with OBD reader to read the codes. I had same issue: turned out to be faulty coil on cylinder 4.
When is the last time you changed spark plugs?

We have a friend with a different make of car and many of his lights are on. To get a certificate of road worthiness he had to remove the lamps. (!!!!!) I suspect after looking at his car a mouse had a home in it. Certainly one of our cats arrived under it hood. Did not you Tom as I turn around and hear him purring.
