The battery is probably dead or dying. It takes more power to make sounds than to just keep the time.

My Adidas Archive M1 is blocked

If your Adidas Archive M1 watch is "blocked," it is likely that the watch's movement has stopped working properly. This can happen for a variety of reasons such as a dead battery, a malfunctioning quartz crystal, or a problem with the gears or other internal components.
To fix this issue, it is best to take the watch to a qualified watch repair professional who can diagnose and repair the problem. They can determine if the problem is a minor one that can be fixed quickly or if a more extensive repair is needed. Additionally, you can try the following steps:
  • Check the battery: If the watch has a battery, make sure it is still good and replace it if necessary.
  • Check the crown: Make sure the crown (the knob on the side of the watch) is not in the "pulled out" position. If it is, push it back in.
  • Check the time: If the watch has stopped working, try resetting the time and see if that fixes the problem.
It's also a good idea to refer to the manufacturer's manual for troubleshooting steps and warranty information, as some issues may be covered under the warranty.

My wife has a Nike Alpha Project watch with new battery. We cannot set the time. I press "Mode" and nothing happens. I hold it down and nothing happens. Perhaps the buttons do not work? Shawn

Maybe the button is not pushing the internal button properly. Undo the back and remove the watch unit from it's case and then see if it works when you press the internal button.

CAN'T SET TIME

I have an AW 150 watch. I looked everywhere for a solution to setting it. I found nothing. It appears that all types of this watch are hard to set. I happened upon the correct procedure for at least setting the watch.

My watch has 4 set buttons that you can push. 2 on each side. Hold the upper right hand button until something starts flashing on the watch. On mine it was the seconds. Then release the button. Now each time you push that button for a very short moment, the flashing part of the watch will progress through each area (minutes, hours, date, etc). When you get to the area you want to set/adjust, use the bottom right hand button to move up/forwards and the bottom left hand button to move down/backwards. When you have fixed one function push the upper right hand button to move to the next function you want to change and repeat the procedure. When you are done, hold the upper right hand button in until the watch quits flashing anywhere and then release the button. Your watch is no longer in the adjust mode. Hope this works for you. It drove me nuts until I figured it out.

Have a casio watch with analogue and digital time.  can change analogue time but not digital time

Digital time must be set using pushbuttons on watch case sides. One of them is for MODE, another for SETTINGS.
Mode button usually must be held pushed in for a while to start to work and the digits should start to flash - only then you can start to reset your digital watch using another (settings) button.
Use small steal pin to push these buttons.
If nothing happens, you will have to consult your nearest watch repairer as in this case there is a mechanical or electronical fault.
Rating is very appreciated.

Can't reset the time on digital watch

Hi,
I found the solution at http://www.watchliquidators.com/fossildir/Nike.asp

Hold down the button at the top left (the light) for about 4 seconds. The second part of the time will start blinking. I tried this before, I'm sure, but I must not have noticed the blinking and thought nothing was happening.
Once the seconds numbers are blinking, push the top right button (Start/Stop) to move to the hour or minute. Push the bottom right button (Lap/Reset) to change the time. When you're done, push the top left button (Light) again.
