I received a printer from my client with the similar problem..... blinking power light. I tried to disassemble it but was not sucessful. I feel the timing has been disturbed or some other problem.
Hope someone would be able to help me out in this
My pc runs in xp and I had the printer 2 years ago. It was going all well when I started to stop buying and start refilling. Refilling is good, if the printer isn't dumb enough to recognize the cartridge level and self-destruct! I really hate this!
Thanks for the solution. I tried everything but I couldn't. I wanted to know why it kept on hurting itself side to side. It wouldn't stop and I couldn't print any test pages because it wouldn't stop! Anyway, thanks for checkin this up tom. I really appreciate it... It helped make me understand what the blinking power lights stand for but I really think it's something with refilling cartrides.
HP Printers hate refilling. I try not to but, considering the money I'd spend buying new cartrides, forget it...
Yeah, it helped but did not solve. Thanks, anyway, Tom :)

Here is download page from HP HP Deskjet 3920 Printer - Download drivers Chose language and OS version. After downloading the file, double click on the downloaded file to start printer setup wizard.
Keep printer unplugged when you start installing files.
same is my problem and now i feel that refilling caused it all!
please try using original and NEW cartridges for your HP printer!
the refills are normally low quality and often have some problem with them that may make your printer burst!
