There is a gauge on it to indicate when it needs charging and i do not need charging yet - i want to remove the beeper because it goes off unexpectedly and is very annoying - i have a small apartment and it wakes me up - i will deal with my battery issues myself - i just want to disable or remove the beeper - is it the horn? if so, how do i access the horn? :) thank you
You will need to access the circuit board inside the top of the tiller assembly. The circuit board is located at the top of the tiller assembly, inside the shell. There should be six phillips screws holding the top of the tiller on. If you look up from the lower part of the tiller to the underside of the tiller head, you will see the screws. Remove these, then the speed control knob on the top, and open the top of the tiller; this will expose the circuit board. Look at the two wires leading from the back of the horn button and they will lead to a plug-in connector on the circuit board. Unplug this connector, reassemble and you are good to go, quietly :)

SOURCE: Replacing the battery on a mobility scooter
hi, ok remove the seat by turning it to the left, there is a lever normally on the right side that will allow it be turned round,
once you done that, lift the seat in a upwards motion, the cover should come away by gemerally lifting it, it should be attached by velco underneath,
you should now see two batteries. 40Ah batteries will allow you to go further if the battery Ah is lower, 50ah batteries again will allow you can go even further NOT faster, if you buy the larger AH batteries please make sure the dimensions of the batteries will fit within the scooter battery holders.
