Windows cannot connect to system event manager

If this problem has not existed for very long try doing a System Restore to a time prior to it starting.

Do you have more than one user profile on your system, if so, have you tried logging in with a different profile to see if the problem exists globaly or just in your normal profile? If the problem is with your profile only then this would suggest that the profile is corrupt and you should create a new profile if you don't have another already.

Another option is to run the System File Checker utility to determine if you have any corrupted or missing critical Windows files.

Lastly try temporarily disabling your AntiVirus and Firewall software then try to access the Event Viewer management console - it is probably best to have your computer disconnected from any internet access when doing this. If this succeeds then check for any events related to the error in opening the Event Viewer - you may find it easier to clear all the current events first then recreate the error and look at the logs again to identify the most current and relevant entries.

When I turn on laptop I get an error message that says "The User Profile Service service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded what do i do i cant not get on that laptop at all and i do my...

either you are entering the wrong user name and password or the someone with admin rights deleted your user profile from the laptop. another possibility is that your operating system is corrupted. have you tried to enter your laptop in safe mode? if not then you should try to enter in safe to see if your user profile is good.

I can't receive e-mail. A log in message keeps popping up each time I open my e-mail. My user name and password is there and I have to cancel the box to get to my messages. This time I got a message:...

What is your email provider (like hotmail, yahoo, etc), and what program are you using to get mail? (windows live, outlook, outlook express?)
Have you tried accessing your mailbox directly from a browser window and logging into the provider website? You'll be able to check your password access that way...
Give us some more details and we might be able to answer better...
If you're using outlook, I think I fixed that issue once but it took some searching, and reappeared after awhile...you may have a corrupt user profile or mail profile and need to make a new one...
Let us know....

CAN'T LOGON ....SAYING .....THE USER PROFILE SERVICE service failed the logon .user profile cannot be loaded ...never had problem before ...normally type in password and it loads ..

this may be a corrupted file for taht particular user thats causing the problem why cant you try opening the other user profiles or if you cant access that too then try turning on your pc and when the list of user profiles appear press ctrl+alt+delete key in and order but you should keep allthree keys down like how you would keep the shift button down while typing an upper case....now when you press all three down a small dialogue box will appear requesting username and password in the username box type administrator and click login no password required after it logs in create a new profile from the control panel but don't use this user profile again because if this gets corrupted then you would have to format your computer.....formating it will delete all the data stored on your pc.....

I am not receiving true HD.

You didn't comment to your original message so the person who responded to you probably won't see your response. Go to your profile and try to find your first message.

User profile error

Hi,

The error message means that the user profile is corrupted by some means.

You can do the system restore to go back to th time on which the system is working fine.
