Hm, have you tried installing a smaller needle to see if it will work? Also, check that the denim needle was installed facing the correct direction. Confirm the bobbin & bobbin case are installed correctly and latched in place.
If you can, open the cover to the bobbin area and while hand-rotating the wheel, watch how the needle is moving and see if you can tell what it is hitting. It could be that your machine is slightly out of time. Search for sewing machine timing or take it for service.
Put a piece of thick plastic over the opening, and tape it down. This will keep the bobbin in place while you get a replacement,as this is only a temporary fix.
Here in Australia, the dealer would get it in for you. The 'manufacturer' / distributor usually don't get involved with customers! I'd find a dealer near you and ask!
