Take a flashlight and see if you can see picture on the TV screen while its running. If you can your inverter board for the lights is dead. If you can't then you might have a power supply problem.
hi.. It sounds like the color wheel has gone bad and needs to be replaced. This is located behind the back panel... replacing a new colour wheel will solve ur problem..

HOLD A LIGHT (THE BRIGHTER THE BETTER) IN FRONT OF THE THE SCREEN ('BOUT 3 INCHES)--IF YOU SEE A DIM PICTURE---BAD SCREEN AND THATS BIG BUCKS---IF STILL NO PICTURE--CIRCUIT BOARDS AND USUALLY THATS BIG BUCKS!!
