If it has sat, it may have lost it's rotor residual magnetism. Disconnect the rotor field wires at the AVR or on the exciter/brushes. Note they are polaroty sensitive. Connect a 12V battery to F+ and F- (note polarity) and momentarilly power from the battery for a few seconds. DO NOT forget to disconnect the rotor/exciter field wires first or the voltage regulator will be damaged. If it hasn't sat check voltage regulator, rotor resistance, and stator resistance, and for shorts to ground.

SOURCE: no electricity from generator

If you have a voltmeter, you can check the voltage coming out of the outlet. If you have some kind of residual voltage, such as 25 Volts AC or 10 volts ac, then you probably have a voltage regulator problem and your regulator will need to be replaced. If you read 0 volts then you you have an open between the output (outlet) and the windings of the stator.

Is it Inverter typr generator?

measure output voltage - anything?
take back cover off generator itself, measure continuity of stator and rotor, and visually inspect windings. You'll find AVR module there too, it may be the reason.

My Oman generator overheats and shuts down if I plug my battery charger in and have my air conditioning on and or coffee maker

to start with with an air conditioner running (2000 +watts ) plus a coffee machine (1500 watts ) you are looking at 3500 + watts of power used from the generator
the genset has to be of a minimum of 4500 watts to run full time with out over heating
never mind what the rating says on the side, that rating is surge rated and the duty cycle is around 500 watts less than that figure
So if your gen set is 3500 watts the power is at surge power and that will overheat the genset
Of course you haven't mentioned the rating of the set , but overloading is the main reason for over heating

Can I run a pellet stove off a generator its a 3500 Watt generator I bought at tractor farm supply Just need to know Yes or no I got a harman invincible insert pellet stove

If you are just running the blowers and what not, then yes you can. Blower motors do not take more than between 200 and 500 watts or so, so you should be okay running the blowers.

Generator was running fine and then the electrical output quit while the engine was running.

Sounds like you did overload the capacity of the generator. What has happened is that the generator was happily running away producing the electricity required for approximately an hour and then an appliance such as an air conditioner, furnace, refrigerator, water heater, or similar large amperage draw fixture decided it was time to kick on for its cycle, or perhaps two or three of them kicked on at the same time, thereby raising the amperage requirement beyond the capability of the generator. All heavy duty appliances run at a given amperage but when they kick on for a cycle they draw almost 50 percent or more amps. Generators rated at 6000 amps or less will not power an entire home or business. When using this size of generator, disable some of your electrical items in the home by unplugging or switching off, and only connect the most important items needed for emergency use. A 3500 watt generator will only run a few lights and a television, plus only one appliance. This means that you could plug in the refrigerator and run it until it has gotten cold enough, then unplug it & connect the furnace or air conditioner or water heater so that they can do there job. Eventually you will be able to rotate through each appliance in turn, and hope the power will return soon. Your generator will likely have blown a capacitor, resistor or some similar repairable item. Some good quality generators will have an overload breaker installed, that trips before doing any damage and all that is needed is to find it and reset it, in order to continue using the generator.

How do I connect 2 1850 watt coleman generators together to have at least 3500 watts to run my camping trailer?

It wont work. Electricity does not work like that. you can't double the power just by doubling the watts or amps. there is a lot and lots of other things involved.
I would rewire you camper so that half is run be one generator and the other half by the other generator... SO lights and fridge on one and plugs and heater on the other maybe...
