How do I play a file downloaded from a TECHview QV-3048 on my computer

You may want to install the codec pack from the link below, to ensure you have all the codecs required to run all video formats.

If this still doesn't help, you may need to reinstall your Windows Media Player (or other media software), and then apply the codec pack again.

To play x264 (.mkv) files I would recommend downloading and installing VLC player.

The VLC and FFDshow both use the free Libavcodecs I suggest using MediaInfo from sourceforge by Jerome Martinez to find out the actual codec that has been used then search google for the installer for the specifed codec.

other just download vlc media player...its a very good software n it plays almost all the file extensions....good luck

vlc is a quick solution.
you can download the software for free and it plays most video files. just google VLC.
you may have to change the file from a .mod file to a .mpeg. but just re-name it yourself and it should work.
