You will have to replace the neon bulbs or the ballast of the display.

LOL if you just paid good honest hard earned cash for it i would certainly take it back. You might get a few freebies in the process. If you never broke it, Dont try and fix it because you will be held responsible for any damage they deem fit to blame you for.

Hello there I have a HT - sb60 soundbar that I'm trying to program to my co5 remote having difficulties can anybody suggest something

I already answered this, but for others, here it is again.

Hello Michael
You are always better off starting your own questions rather than tagging to an existing one from January 2014. (you did this, well done) Your question is lacking vital information which leads to us having to guess. Questions must always have FULL 'make model (what it is)'.

Saying 'HT - sb60' leads me to guess you have the Sharp HT-SB60? So then I go off and search 'Sharp sound bar remote code' and I find this. The code is always based on the device it is controlling.

0066 is your code
Soundbars: Setup and Code List
Brand SHARP. Code 0066.

'cl5' on its own leads me to believe this?

Reset my soundbar

Amp is probable going into protection mode. Disconnected all speaker and av wires (only power) and check if it switches on. Try to plugged it in also at another wallsocket. Presume PSU damaged by surge

Dim display

Check power settings as it may be in battery saving mode, for games it should be set to maximum performance. There will be settings for brightness and contrast possibly using the function key and cursor arrows. It may help to change the screen, which is moderately difficult if you have a disassembly diagram, but it is worth trying to change the inverter first.
