Have you installed new hardware recently? if yes, try to remove it again.

other option is to boot up using your windows xp cd, choose the rescue console, and type "chkdsk c: /f" ( without the quotes)

if that still doestn fixes it, you boot again using the cd, and then choose repair installation. let it do its thing. It will reboot when done.

SOURCE: Computer Not Starting

OK, put Windows CD in let it load all drivers, hit F8 when asked, then it'll find windows on your hard drive and will ask you if you want to repair it or replace.
Repair it. You'll not going to loose anything.

SOURCE: System: IBM Netvista 830516A WinXP SP3 Installed

I am afraid that this is a hardware issue. There are specific graphics cards specially designed to support two monitors off one tower. Unless there is a selection in bios to active both integrated and agp at the same time, or IBM offers a BIOS update that will bring up that choice in BIOS, you can choose the AGP Nvidia card or the integrated video card. If you want to be have two monitors, you will need to obtain a video card designed for that purpose.

Examples of these mutli monitor video cards can be found here.

I hope that this was helpful.

Have you tried the safe mode on Windows?
Just before Windows screen splashes, keep pressing F8 multiple times and wait for a menu to appear.
Then, go to Start Windows on Safe Mode and uninstall all the programs that might be defective.
Another option is to restore the factory settings using the CD that came along with the netbook.

Screen says windows didn't start properly...help! :(

Acctualy you hadn't specified, that the computer is working and then you find this messege every time, or that the computer is not working and this messege appears every time, First if the computer is working properly and you recieve this messege every time, so you must check if you were closing the computer properly (closing all windows before shutdown), Second if this didn't work and the screen still appears, thats means there is corrupted system files due to many factors (from it Infection with a virus), and you must reinstall your windows.
