Have you installed new hardware recently? if yes, try to remove it again.
other option is to boot up using your windows xp cd, choose the rescue console, and type "chkdsk c: /f" ( without the quotes)
if that still doestn fixes it, you boot again using the cd, and then choose repair installation. let it do its thing. It will reboot when done.

Did you try doing a forceed shut down (holding down the "on" button until the computer shuts down)? Then restart normally.

OK, put Windows CD in let it load all drivers, hit F8 when asked, then it'll find windows on your hard drive and will ask you if you want to repair it or replace.
Repair it. You'll not going to loose anything.

I am afraid that this is a hardware issue. There are specific graphics cards specially designed to support two monitors off one tower. Unless there is a selection in bios to active both integrated and agp at the same time, or IBM offers a BIOS update that will bring up that choice in BIOS, you can choose the AGP Nvidia card or the integrated video card. If you want to be have two monitors, you will need to obtain a video card designed for that purpose.
Examples of these mutli monitor video cards can be found here.

I hope that this was helpful.
