Tryed that Idid what dcolla told me to do whitch was to replace the battries and i did but the same problemi cant get 6 blocks out of my wheelchair could it be that something is draining the power from the battries or do i just have to live with the problem because i put the same battries into my Ranger scooter and i can go 7ml/pr/hr and 15miles on one charge.

You need to have a trained tech do a full diag. of the chair. The motors or brakes are pulling to much power.

How often can you charge the battery on a Invacare ATM

Charge as required , Battries usual to last Max 5 years ( they don't make them like they used to ) Bottom line , Battries can DIE at any time . so use / charge then untill thet will not hold a charge.

If it cant be reset how do i get it to go forward it does everything else it goes backwards and up and down but not forward and the scooter store went bankrupt so noone answers the phone

Disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes will reset. But, its probably the joy stick. You can try to take apart and clean the contacts but, you probably will have to replace it or the board.

I have a jazzt 1103 power chair, I havent used it for about 6 mo and the battries went dead and wont take a charge anymore do you know about it thanks

Recharageable batteries need to be kept charged and if left uncharged for a long period they most likely no longer work.
You need to replace these batteries.

Where do you get battries

Try Batteries Plus, Battery Warehouse or Interstate Batteries. You can also contact a local Durable Medical Equipment provider or a small engine repair shop. Check your owner's manual for the battery type but MOST LIKELY you will need a U1 12 volt 33 amp battery and you will need 2 of them. CHECK YOUR MANUAL OR CURRENT BATTERY CASE TO BE SURE.
Good luck!

Just purchased it used. Both battries show

If the horn won't work, the batteries are dead. If the charger is showing green lights, most likely the gel inside the batteries has gone solid from the chair being stored for a while. Replace both batteries with type U1, 24v, 33 amps and see if that will clear the problem. The fuses are regular automotive type fuses.

Battrie wont last

You probably need to replace your batteries again most batteries in a owc need to be charged 12 hrs a day for the first month at least to build up the capacity if not they will slowly dwindle and wont last long and will need to be replaced

New battries won't charge.

Sounds like the batteries are completely dead, you'll probably need to replace them, sometimes you can only use batteries until they die, and that goes for Wheelchair Batteries too. If they won't charge or keep a charge then they are dead.
