Why wont my have a cimarron k3489 toilet fully flush? the water empties from the tank but the water from the bowl does not go down.

There is no pressure coming from the water port in the front of the toilet to push waste down

That's an interesting one! Does the flush valve close properly so the tank can refill? Does the float valve allow the tank to refill fully, to near the top of the overflow? That can be adjusted, if it doesn't.

Check fhe flush valve - you may have an obstruction under it. Also check the water port from the bowl side - feel up inside the port for obstructions or buildup of hard water deposits.

WASH YOUR HANDS THOROUGHLY afterwards.

SOURCE: Kohler Cimarron elongated comfort height toilet not flushing correctly

low water in the bowl is only caused by the float being to high! the gurgles is Usually because of air coming back up through the pipe, check your vent pipe that come out the roof. this will help the draining.

SOURCE: My new K-4632 AA toilet flushes fine and refills

Hello. Your toilet is leaking through the flush valve. This is a serious issue as it will use a huge amount of water every day. Check to be sure there is not an obstruction in the tank and if you can not find one, call the plumber. J.

SOURCE: My Kohler toilet tank is

Change out the ball **** and float assembly and flapper valve to one of the newer types...
Also you can set the level of water in the tank by an adjustment screw located at the top of the ball ****.
The Flapper valve on the bottom of the tank also needs replacement, that is causing the tank not to drain properly.

Kohler cimarron very noisy when flushed

You probably have one of the newer Cimarron-series toilets that feature what Kohler calls "AquaPiston" technology. These gadgets use the water pressure in your supply lines to pressurize a charge of flush water in the tank, causing the flush water to rush into the bowl at high pressure and velocity. Many Cimarron-series toilets use only 1.28 gpf (gallons per flush), compared to the current industry standard of 1.6 gpf for conventional gravity-flush units. Reducing the gpf rating by 20% requires pressurizing the water in the tank, and the release of pressurized water makes a lot of noise. I'm afraid your toilet will always be noisier than what you may be used to.

I have a 2yr old Kohler K4634 toilet. After flushing the water level drops about 1 inch in the bowl after the bowl filled. This causes a lower level in the bowl than is recommended. The main issue

check to see if waster continues to run into the bowl after the plunger has returned to stop water flowing. If it is a slow leak then replace the flush washer on the stopper plunger.

Tank empties on flush but bowl doesn't empty. eventually only water very slowly empties from bowl. Brand new

Unless there is some packing material or protective film that you failed to remove it is more likely to be a problem with your home drainage system than the toilet itself.
It could be debris from removal of the previous toilet, a wad of toilet paper or other stuff partly blocking a pipe.
Before doing anything else get outside and open up the man-hole covers. Throw a bucket full of water down and see how quickly it drains away. - if it runs well then the problem is likely to be a blockage somewhere between the toilet and the drain cover.
I would suggest uninstalling the toilet bowl to make access easier then rodding it through with drain rods - you can usually hire these quite cheaply but they are only about £15 - £20 to buy a set in the UK.

When I flush the tank only half empties and not enough flushing action is the result as well as the bowl does not adequately fill after the flush.

Hi, if you remove the cistern lid and flush the toilet, look at the float (back left) to see if this is rising freely when the water fills back up. Once the water has stopped filling, check the fill level lines on the large syphon in the middle of cistern. Your model of toilet has an eco flush which will be lowest line to save water, so not as much water will flush out. There is a long plastic screw on the float (back left) which you can turn to adjust the water level to the higher line on syphon (1.6 gallon flush) and turn it slowley till the water level reaches that mark. flush a couple of times to see it is filling back up to the set amount.

Toilet doesn't turn off after flush

The Kohler Cimarron is one of the most popular and reliable toilets out there. (My Favorite). However, depending on the hardness of the water and if you use cleaner tabs in the tank, these factors can lead to a malfunction.
The first thing you should do is hold the flapper (rubber seal inside the tank that releases the water down to the bowl) down with your hands for a few seconds after a flush and see if the toilet stops running. Sometimes the flapper doesn't seal properly therefore the fill valve keeps working non stop. Stopping the fill while holding the flapper down will confirm that your flapper needs to be changed.
If this doesn't work then try this....
The other common problem with a running toilet is with the fill valve itself. There is an attached float on the fill valve that goes up and down depending on the water level. Once the water level rises, it rises the float, and the float tells the fill valve to stop filling the tank. While the toilet is running (hissing), try raising the float all the way up with your hand and see if it stops. If it stops but not consistently with every attempt, then you will need to change the fill valve. I believe the Fluidmaster 400A is the replacement model.

Handicapp Toilet Bowl does not fill - up as high as regular toilet > very small amount of water in bowl after flushing ie> about 10 cuos of water.. JUST INSTALLED IT NEW YESTERDAY...

Wiith all due respect, the Drake toilet is not a regular toilet and doesn't sound the same as a regular toilet when you flush it. It is in the design that allows it use only 1.5 gpf instead of 3.5 gpf. A rather unique thing is that while it is scientifically calibrated to release 1.5 gpf, it does not empty the tank of approximately 1 gallon of water. Therefore if one feels the need for a little extra umph, simply hold down the flush lever when you flush until the tank is emptied.

BRand new elongated Cimarron shoots water out of bowl durng flush

Is the fill line in the tank loose? Does it just shoot water into the tank itself? I had this issue until I realized the while fill tube is supposed to be pushed into the black cylinder/small plastic tube in the middle of the stopper assembly. After i pushed the line into the tube, the bowl would always only fill a little bit. Now it fills almost a 3rd of the way up the bowl and doesn't bubble during flushes.

The bowl does not fill up completely with enough water to flush everything down. This problem just started.

Check the float in your tank and watch it and make sure it is not hitting the sides of the tank to not allow it to fill up.
