If your iPhone iPad or iPod touch doesn respond or won turn on

Here are two things to try:
I- Using the Power button:
1 Press and hold the Power button for at least 4 seconds.
2 Swipe-down the shutdown confirmation screen to the bottom
edge of the display to turn off the tablet.
Using Charms:
1 Swipe-in from the right edge of the display to access Charms.
2 Touch Settings
Turning Off the Screen
Using the Power button:
Press the Power button to turn off the screen.
Using Charms:
1 Swipe-in from the right edge of the display to access Charms.
2 Touch Settings
NOTE: If your tablet is in a standby state (tablet is on, but screen is off), press the Power button or Windows button once to turn on the screen.

II- Unplug the battery, wait 30 seconds, then install the battery again.

Can you turn it off? If so turn it off then hold the volume button down and the on button at the same time for about 10 seconds. Factory reset will be available to you then.

If you really can't remember the login/pass then you can do a factory reset.

** Your tablet will be back to the original settings, you'll have to redo the setup and reinstall all your applications.

1. Turn off your Tablet.
2. Hold the Volume up + Power Button.
3. Press it for 5-8 seconds
4. Android robot will appear
5. Navigate in the menu by using volume keys.
6. Highlight the option named "Reset device" or "Wipe Data" and select it by pressing power button.
7. Confirm yes to "Delete all users Data"
8. It will start formatting your device

Depending on the tablet, you might be able to plug it to your laptop with usb and see it like a drive to copy them from.

First thing to do is try a soft reset. Hold volume up button and whilst holding it, hold power on button till it boots up. Really hope this works for you.

Hello I have Rica table. It turns on and everything but i can't see anything it has sound I can still touch the screen but I can't see anything when I touch it pleasenhelp

From the Archos User's Manual.

- Press and hold the power button until the ARCHOS banner is displayed and then release it.
- Press the power button twice (like a mouse double-click) while the banner is still displaying.
- A white Recovery screen should appear within a couple of seconds.
- To move from one option to another, press the power button. To select the highlighted item, hold down on the power button.
You'll want to select the Format System option.

Try doing a system defragmentation, your programs may be so fragmented that loading time is impaired. Also clean up the hard drive by doing a Disk cleanup. Both of these tools are in the popup menu on the start page under the Accessories menu and then the System Tools menu.
