rotary position sensor fault. underneath the machine. Unbolt plastic cover with 16mm socket all of the plastic will come off. Undo four 10mm bolts around shaft. Pull off the big round thingy with cooper wire on it carefully. The purple wire is connected to the sensor which looks like a computer card and fits between the copper things ,pull up the sensor carefully and unpug the connection clean off the blue stuff on contacts, use electrical spray cleaner. Put back together in reverse.

Aug 03, 2009 - if it still doesnt work reset the machine by turning it off at the wall and waiting 2mins and start again. If that doesnt work the sensor may need replacing.

Hi just read your posting. Now Error Code 130 means the fault on your machine is called Single Rotor Position Sensor Error. This means the Rotor Sensor which is located on your motor is faulty or the wiring to the rotor sensor is faulty or the Control Module that reads the information from the rotor sensor is faulty. Now to test the wiring you need an electrical tester to check if the wires going to the rotor sensor are broken but unfortunately to test the Rotor Sensor you need a device called RPS tester. If you eliminate the wires as the fault, which is not too difficult, and change the rotor sensor without testing it the fault could be the Control Module.I am sorry I cant help you test the rotor sensor without an you having an RPS tester. Please reply and let me know how you would like to proceed and I can help you as much as I can .Looking forward to your reply.

Hi - Faults 130-136 means there are some serious comm problems - motor stalls etc. The most likely cause would be the RPS Senor - has failed or loose, corroded, bad wiring connections.
This is under the machine - tilt on its back, remove the center round rotor has magnets on the inside be careful it stays clean. there are 4 bolts in the middle - remove to get stator off with all the copper wounded contraption, remove the wiring - not to worry too much but note on the stator Y_B_R relates to colours on wire harness, note also the harness & RPS component. replace this assemble & should work fine unless the controller is a dud.
95% of the time this is your culprit.... Part # 438515P I think for these range - pays to check 1st - You need to quote the Product nuber as this is critical to the components under the hood if you get my drift.
