There is no eject button on my Curtis 19" DVD player, how do I eject the DVD???

Have you tried both the eject button on the DVD drive and the remote? Is there a disk jammed in the drive? Here is the manual:

most of the time there is a small hole near the eject button that you can unbend a paper clip and insert it into that will release the door.

Hi Joanne, The eject button ( micro switch ) on the TV is defective. Please get it changed and the stuck DVD will come out.

I you can't do it with the Remote control, you might be able to do it on the TV itself.
I'm not positive about this, but there should be a button on the back outer-edge of the TV that may control the DVD player.

The eject button on the remote appears as an upward-pointing arrow with an underline - see below image. The eject button on the TV has a similar symbol.




However, I suspect that in your case, you might not be having a Remote.

This link says that your TV doesn't come with a Remote and DVD cannot be ejected without the remote :

Just open the top cover, and try to eject the disc inside.

Sorry to hear about the original remote, we would be happy to help with getting your DISH remote programmed to your Curtis DVD player. Here is a list ofcodes that should address your DISH Network remote to your Curtis DVD player: 678, 679, 683, 585, 592, and 594. Start by pressing and holding the DVD/VCR button located on the top of the remote until allthe mode buttons at the top of the remote light up, then release. Use thenumber buttons to enter one of the codes for your Curtis DVD player, thenpress the pound (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the modelight flashes three times.To check that the code works try several different functions on the remote tomake sure it will properly operate your DVD player. Keep in mind that somecodes may not be compatible with your equipment. If this is the case, pleasetry the other codes listed for that device until you find one that iscompatible with your equipment.
