Why does the volume of the tv goes on only when the tv gets hot?
At first it was a quick warm up but now it takes about fifteen to twenty minutes for the tv to stay on then the volume will kick in. Why does this happen and is it worth fixing?

There is an adjustment knob to control how hot the water can become. There might be a problem at the tap (however, if this is the case, you would still get hot water everywhere in the house). If the entire house isn't getting hot water, and the knob is set at the hottest water, you probably need to get the hot water tank replaced.
Proton 32, most plasma and lcd TV's have internal boards a few control the stability or video display these secondary boards are controlled by a main board. if your having sound or tv function issues the main board may be defective. is it worth fixing? that depends on the service center and what they are estimating it to cost. it is repairable by replacing the main board and that's if your screen itself is not the factor yet also consider the price for the repair vs. the price of a new set. you can get this part at auction sites or buy it online and repair it yourself or with a someone who understands electronics that would save you some cash. best regards..
Shelisha, may be you have too many programs to start with. That slows you down. Also extensions take time too. Try cleaning up and keep most used. Rest can go into a folder. Clean registry and clutter. I use advanced uninstaller pro. Have you defragmented the hard drive(s).
Try turning the volume all the way down then power the TV an see how long it takes to bring a screen up if you still hear a popping sound then you have a bad part with a bad connection most likey a lamp and wiring. Call to have it serviced a must if so.
It seems that your unit has some sort of Thermal fault, either in the main circuitry or the Power Supply Unit, PSU. In all probability it WILL get worse and fail completely.

I also have this problem Ihave replaced the igniter twice this helps some for a while I AM GETTNG READY to order my third one. had dealer replace once they had no answer cut lighting time from fifteen to twenty minutes to maybe five
