I have different issues with threadmill

Incline does go up, it hums, the numbers increase but does not move. The threadmill works without safety key. and it is starting working for a few minutes, then it stops and reads incline on display, the motor is humming, doesn't move, then restarts to zeros again.

Sounds to me like the motor has a shorted field coil or open or shorted armature. The motor is bad, you can order a new one at the companies website.

Battery has been replaced. watch will not work

This isnt uncommon! Depending on how long the dead battery remained in the watch...it could be that the watch is running but the hands might not be moving. Chances are thats what the issue is. The problem is that you need to find a watch repair business that has a cyclonic machine. It picks up the "beat" that the magnetic rotor makes as the wheels move inside. It most likely needs a little watch oil and a spin on the cyclonic machine.

We do this countless times everyday! Customer brings a watch in and its not running, we check the battery and its good. The watch oils loose viscosity as the watch ages and it can keep the hands from moving! Another issue is finding a repair company that wont try and sell you a new movement when its not needed! Thats common too! :-( I would check around at different places. If they are honest then they wont try to fix something that isnt broke! :-)

Good luck!!!

Timex 1440 sports WR50M

Solution #2 by Guest, posted on May 13, 2008 solved my problem. OUTSTANDING solution #2!

1. Hold in the MODE button until the alarm time appears.

2. VERY IMPORTANT - release and TAP the MODE button AGAIN, and the time should appear with the seconds flashing.

3. Use StART/Stop to choose among seconds, hours, and minutes, and

4. Use ADJUST to increase the selected number

5. Press MODE to put the thing back in regular operational mode.

After several attempts with other directions over the last four months, these 5 steps WORKED.

Casio watch, removal of links

I clipped a driver pin out of a safety pin and tapped the band pins out with the driver pin and a hammer. It helps to have someone hold the band on a hard place over a hole.
