Does it make the the samsung jingle when it trys to turn on? if it does you need a power supply if not then most likely it is the main board. I would contact you r local service center for help and if the standby lights in the front blink in a certain pattern write that down it is a error code that the technicain can use to solve the problem.

Howdy,
It sounds like you have a Power Supply Board problem. The PSB is the center Board (towards left) after you remove the back off the TV. Remove Board from TV with the 6-7 screws. Replace capacitors CM852 & CM853; 2200ufd 25volts.

Thanks for using FIXYA, big IRISH.

My Coby LEDTV-2426 24 No Power

Switch off TV, switch off power, remove plug and wait for 48 hours and retry. If problem persists, I suggest it is better to refer it to a qualified service technician, since the back cover has to be opened for investigation/rectification.

Green and black screen when I use turn Direct TV box

Try changing the input device to something you are sure, works such as a DVD player.

Switch off TV manually, switch off power, remove plug and retry after 48 hours.

If problem persists, please refer it to a qualified service technician.

Screen does not switch on, mode light flashes orange

Need to remove the Input module circuit box from the bottom of the center and wait for few minutes before putting it back.

This will reset the system from this persistant power off problem.

Best way to prevent it from happening again is to manually switch of the power switch before doing any powering off and on. Most commonly happens during a power failure and power coming back on with the switch in the on position.

Goodmans 1430R TV (bought 10 years ago) switched off in middle of program by itself and no longer works.

Oh come on man the sets tired!!!LOL no really you got plenty of use out of this bugger. Your problem sounds like something opened in the power supply and since the sets all solid state theres no user serviceable parts inside them. If you really wanted to put cash into a 10 year old set for an estimate/? i would not . But if you like the set go for it. Good luck
