Imaging units have a limited life span and sounds like yours is getting to the end of it. Sooner or later the printer will stop and demand image unit replacement.
are you sure that the channel your tv is on matches the name on the inputs where you plugged the component cables in? Channel surf-maybe start at 2 and go down and that is where those input channels should be.
On the end of the image unit you will find a white bit of plastic with a small screw in the middle, make sure this screw is tight and then reinstall the units(give the units a bit of a shake too)
